Director of Resident Programs

Location: St. Charles, Illinois, United States; onsite full-time

Salary: From $25 per hour

What you will do

• Plan and lead daily resident programs, special events, outings, and holiday celebrations.
• Develop programming across physical, social, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, vocational, and environmental wellness.
• Build partnerships with internal departments and external community organizations to expand program offerings.
• Create monthly event calendars, newsletters, flyers, bulletin boards, and digital signage in line with brand standards.
• Promote the community lifestyle through social media and collaboration with sales and marketing.
• Hire, train, mentor, and supervise department employees while managing equipment, supplies, budgets, expenses, and records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Entry-level experience of 0–3+ years.
• Experience leading small or large group events.
• Acceptable fluency in English is required for speaking, reading, writing, and communication.
• Competence with Microsoft Suite, Outlook email, online learning portals, and social media.
• Ability and license to drive an automobile are required.

• Event planning and experience coordinating community partnerships.
