Senior Global Buyer Planner

Location: Hybrid in Fort Collins, Colorado; in-person attendance is required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work available on Mondays and Fridays.

Salary: $92,500–$131,700 base salary annually, with potential additional compensation based on company policy and role eligibility.

What you will do

• Own demand-driven supply planning for finished goods across multiple global manufacturing locations.
• Optimize supply, capacity, inventory, safety stock, lead times, and lot-sizing strategies to support service levels and reduce scrap.
• Manage shortages, back orders, expedites, product transitions, part-number changes, and end-of-life activities.
• Develop procurement strategies, manage supplier communications, evaluate delivery performance, and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain planning data and parameters in MRP and ERP systems, including Oracle and ePortal.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and suppliers on demand planning, new product launches, capacity constraints, and business continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of combined experience in purchasing, planning, inventory management, operations, logistics, quality, or manufacturing.
• Buyer Planner experience or similar experience in a global manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of MRP and ERP systems, experience across multiple manufacturing lines and locations, and capacity planning experience.
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify risks, make data-driven decisions, and manage competing priorities independently.
• Strong communication and influencing skills for collaboration with cross-functional partners and external suppliers without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Asia-based or offshore manufacturing experience.
• Experience planning around extended production shutdowns such as Lunar New Year.
• New Product Development planning experience.
• APICS CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or another professional certification.
