What you will do

• Lead and manage engineers and designers delivering bridge projects from conceptual through detailed design.
• Oversee structural analysis and design for complex steel and concrete bridges, ensuring code compliance and constructability.
• Direct the preparation and review of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and scopes of work.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, QAQC compliance, design reviews, and independent quality-control checks.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary delivery, including CAD production and collaboration with civil and other engineering disciplines.
• Mentor staff, manage team utilization, engage clients, and support business development and new pursuits.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE or equivalent).
• 18+ years of structural and bridge engineering experience on complex infrastructure projects exceeding $250 million.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and overseeing quality control, design management, and construction.
• Strong communication and client engagement skills, including presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to mentor, collaborate, and lead inclusively while maintaining technical excellence.
