Superintendent (Multifamily Construction)

Location: Dallas Office; onsite project work

What you will do

• Lead all onsite aspects of Garden, Walkup, Affordable, and some Wrap multifamily construction projects.
• Develop and maintain jobsite schedules, coordinate material deliveries, and communicate schedule requirements to field teams.
• Monitor safety, quality control, construction progress, applicable building codes, and project requirements.
• Conduct weekly meetings covering look-ahead schedules, safety, SWPPP, quality control, RFIs, submittals, and coordination items.
• Review plans before vertical construction, identify constructability, code, egress, dimensional, and MEP conflicts, and document deviations through RFIs.
• Coordinate field teams, trade partners, building officials, project managers, and assistant project managers through project close-out.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in construction or a related field is preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience preferred, including a minimum of 5 years of construction experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of multifamily construction supervisory experience required.
• Familiarity with multifamily construction procedures, building codes, and construction scheduling practices.
• OSHA 30-hour certification must be completed within 90 days of hire.
• PC proficiency and strong communication, documentation, coordination, and team-leadership skills.
