Field Service Engineer II (Bioprocessing)

Location: Remote from France, based in Toulouse, with regular travel to customer sites across Europe

What you will do

• Install, qualify, maintain, and repair UV/Vis spectroscopy, filtration, fluid management, chromatography, and filling systems.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests, including IQ/OQ/PQ qualification activities.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and customer training on systems, software, and accessories.
• Document service activities, resolutions, and technical updates in CRM and service platforms.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, technical support, global field service teams, and the Field Service Manager.
• Support GMP compliance, service documentation, SOPs, work instructions, demo systems, and loaner equipment programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechanics, engineering, laboratory science, or a related field.
• At least three years of field service experience with scientific instruments or bioprocess equipment.
• Strong analytical, mechanical, and electronic aptitude.
• Ability to draft and execute SOPs and technical documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
• Willingness to travel across Europe and work at customer sites.

Nice to have

• Cleanroom experience.
• GMP or GLP experience.
