Workshop Technician

Location: Paris, France; onsite workshop role

What you will do

• Provide prompt and effective service for customer-owned actuators.
• Perform basic maintenance and level 2 maintenance on electric and fluid power actuators, gearboxes, and valve actuation systems.
• Repair and test electro-mechanical equipment and troubleshoot technical failures.
• Support the Service Coordinator in generating, maintaining, and closing in-house service tickets.
• Coordinate with Technical Assistance, Quality, Engineering, Shipping, and Sales.
• Manage workshop tools, safety equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, inventory control, and workspace tidiness.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience; beginners with an electrical and mechanical background are also welcome.
• Ability to interpret electrical wiring diagrams and analyze failures in mechanical components.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Basic working knowledge of MS Office and related software.
• BTS Maintenance or Electro technique qualification.
• Strong customer-service orientation and ability to work independently and under pressure.
