Analyst, AP

Location: New York, New York; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Process daily invoices for corporate overhead expenses, obtain approvals, and apply accurate coding.
• Prepare and execute weekly payment batches using checks, ACH, and electronic payments.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, duplicate invoices, missing information, and payment disputes.
• Manage two accounts payable inboxes and respond to overhead and media vendor inquiries.
• Reconcile vendor statements, maintain vendor master data, collect W-9s, and verify banking details.
• Support month-end close, including accruals, reporting, outstanding check reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable role, preferably handling overhead or corporate expenses.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and full-cycle Accounts Payable processes.
• Hands-on experience with major ERP systems; NetSuite experience is highly desirable.
• Accurate data entry, strong attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative, customer-service-oriented approach.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
