Accounting Analyst

Location: West Los Angeles, California, USA. Hybrid schedule with required in-office work Monday–Wednesday and remote work available Thursday and Friday.

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per year, with a possible discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, regulatory reports, GAAP reporting, consolidations, and eliminating entries.
• Reconcile Oracle cash balances, intercompany accounts, and process CO-OP reporting and payments.
• Prepare daily cash projections, execute wires, and review expense coding for overhead departments.
• Prepare interim and year-end audit schedules, annual tax packages, and local property tax reporting.
• Identify accounting processes suitable for automation and help develop reports, dashboards, and workflow improvements.
• Mentor FARM Analysts and support special accounting projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of progressive accounting experience in a mid-sized or large company, or equivalent education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, together with ERP systems experience.
• Working knowledge of financial statements, general ledgers, and accounting software systems.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including PivotTables and XLOOKUP; Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Strong critical thinking, professional skepticism, accuracy under pressure, deadline management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional business partners.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excel macros and data tools such as SQL, Power BI, Python, or Tableau.
• Familiarity with Oracle R12 and emerging AI accounting platforms.
