Senior Systems Engineer (Salesforce)

Location: Lisle, Illinois, USA; hybrid schedule with four required in-office days per week, Monday through Thursday. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.

Salary: $84,835.61–$149,076.17 per year.

What you will do

• Configure, support, and optimize Salesforce solutions across Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for student-facing portals and communities, supporting operations for a large user base.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and scalable technical designs while partnering with business and IT stakeholders.
• Use declarative Salesforce tools, including Flows, validation rules, and security controls, and collaborate on Apex and Lightning Web Components solutions.
• Manage releases, deployments, sandbox environments, reports, dashboards, documentation, and data quality.
• Troubleshoot production issues, support user requests and training, and contribute to CRM roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Five or more years of Salesforce administration experience in complex environments and five or more years of Experience Cloud experience.
• Required Salesforce certifications: Administrator and Platform App Builder.
• Working knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of identity platforms and protocols, including SSO, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Current full-time U.S. work authorization is required; hirify.global does not sponsor work visas.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Sales or Service Cloud Consultant certification or Advanced Administrator certification.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with Data Loader, Gearset, GitHub, Workbench, and DocuSign.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding and debugging tools and validating generated code for security, performance, and maintainability.
