Distribution Safety Specialist

Location: Jinjiang, China; onsite full-time

What you will do

• Monitor drivers, escorts, vehicles, tanks, and transportation processes for compliance with safety standards.
• Verify driver and escort licenses, certificates, vehicle equipment, protective gear, firefighting equipment, first-aid kits, and hazard labels.
• Maintain safety records, conduct hazard inspections, create risk lists, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and activate emergency plans, organize at least two emergency drills annually, and report accidents to authorities.
• Conduct safety training on defensive driving and emergency response.
• Participate in accident investigations and recommend preventive measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• More than three years of experience in logistics and distribution.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Proficiency with office software.
• Knowledge of hazardous chemicals and road dangerous-goods transport regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience in hazardous materials logistics.
• Safety Officer or Certified Safety Engineer qualification.
