EHS Associate Director (MedTech)

What you will do

• Lead the Environmental Health & Safety team, directing managers and senior individual contributors in a matrix environment.
• Oversee Environmental Health & Safety and Facilities Services processes, initiatives, timelines, approvals, and communications.
• Allocate internal and external resources to address safety and environmental compliance issues.
• Develop and deploy company-wide safety and environmental training for new hires.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across Suzhou, Minhang, Aurangabad, Norderstedt, and Omrix, serving as a key contact for delivery in China.
• Manage team budgets, performance, compliance, workforce planning, succession planning, coaching, and career development.

Requirements

• Experience leading Environmental Health & Safety teams and senior professionals in a matrix organization.
• Knowledge of EHS compliance, environmental protection, regulatory compliance, risk management, and emergency planning.
• Experience with facility management, quality assurance, and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA).
• Strong leadership, collaboration, expectation management, fact-based decision-making, and inclusive leadership skills.
• Ability to develop others and manage operational performance, budgets, and compliance.
