Spanish Translator - Marketing

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina; must be US based.

What you will do

• Translate, edit, and proofread marketing and advertising materials.
• Perform English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English written translation.
• Update and audit corporate and product websites.
• Identify language issues and recommend improvements for accuracy and brand consistency.
• Handle multiple assignments simultaneously and follow company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Scientific Affairs, Legal, IT, department managers, and executive management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Translation or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Three to five years of experience in Spanish/English written translation, interpretation, and proofreading of legal, scientific, financial, advertising, and/or marketing materials.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and internet workflow tools.
• Above moderate to high levels of English and Spanish writing, speaking, reading comprehension, and linguistics.
• Moderate to above moderate levels of active listening, critical thinking, judgment, and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet the listed physical requirements, including intermittent lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing of up to 20 pounds, as well as repetitive use of the arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
