Identity Governance & Administration Lead

Location: Hybrid, three days a week at a Guardian office in New York, NY, or Holmdel, NJ. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Salary: $118,980.00–$195,465.00 base pay annually, with potential eligibility for additional incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead hands-on Identity Governance and Administration activities, including vendor management, KPI and KRI oversight, control monitoring, segregation of duties, offboarding, and entitlement reviews.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve identity governance capabilities, reporting, advanced analytics, documentation, and presentations.
• Design scalable provisioning and deprovisioning solutions across enterprise systems and applications.
• Gather requirements from business stakeholders and application owners and translate them into technical designs and governance models.
• Integrate IAM and IGA solutions with enterprise systems and applications such as SailPoint, CyberArk, and Okta.
• Establish governance processes aligned with regulatory and audit requirements, including access reviews, policy enforcement, and audit-ready runbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in IT or cybersecurity and 5+ years of experience in IAM, with strong IGA exposure.
• Hands-on experience with identity lifecycle management, provisioning, deprovisioning, access certifications, and role-based access control.
• Experience integrating IAM solutions with enterprise systems and applications.
• Strong understanding of least privilege, Zero Trust, identity security, and access governance principles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex, fast-paced environments and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing IAM platforms such as SailPoint, CyberArk, or Okta.
• Experience with RFP/RFI processes, vendor evaluations, proofs of concept, and project activities.
• Knowledge of hybrid identity architecture across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with AI Control Plane, MCP, and AI Identity Governance.
• Experience in regulated environments and frameworks such as SOC 2, SOX, NYDFS, or MAR; CISSP, CISM, or IAM/IGA certifications.
