What you will do
- Assist with standard network changes, including port configurations and firewall rule updates, using established safety protocols.
- Monitor network alerts and troubleshoot Wi-Fi disruptions and ISP outages as a first line of response.
- Develop practical knowledge of a multi-vendor network environment through hands-on work and mentorship.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams and IPAM databases.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in IT networking, or a recent networking degree or certification such as CCNA or PCNSAB.
- Understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, and basic routing and switching concepts.
- Basic familiarity with enterprise networking hardware from Palo Alto, Fortinet, Extreme Networks, or Aruba.
- Ability to follow change management workflows and document technical procedures accurately.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for issue documentation and end-user communication.
