2027 Full-Time Associate (FDD/TAS Experience Required)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States. Hybrid work structure with in-office collaboration Monday through Thursday; remote or office work is available on Fridays.

Salary: $175,000 per year for roles performed in Chicago.

What you will do

• Coordinate day-to-day client interactions and act as the central contact between clients and the M&A team.
• Conduct industry research, identify market trends, buyers, and acquisition targets, and support business development meetings and pitches.
• Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, financial models, valuations, and databooks.
• Manage vendor due diligence across financial, commercial, and operational workstreams, including data rooms, information requests, bidder engagement, and transaction execution.
• Support transaction negotiations through analysis of purchase price adjustments, working capital targets, indemnities, and completion mechanics.
• Review analyst deliverables, provide guidance, host potential buyer visits, and lead initiatives that enhance the firm’s franchise value.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Financial Due Diligence or M&A Transaction Advisory experience at a Big 4 firm or a comparable advisory firm.
• Manager-level and/or third-year Senior Associate/Supervisor candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Fluency in accounting, including Quality of Earnings analysis, finance, and strong business acumen.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including PowerPoint proficiency.
• Excellent project management, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa.
