Senior Associate - Corporate Finance - Transaction Advisory (Finance)

Location: Atlanta, GA, United States; hybrid work. Willingness to travel up to 25% is required. Candidates must provide verification of their legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Salary: $80,000–$135,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support client service teams delivering buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory and diligence engagements.
• Perform quality of earnings, working capital, financial trend, benchmark, financial statement, business plan, and cash flow analyses.
• Identify purchase price adjustment issues and develop insights related to transaction structuring and value drivers.
• Lead reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Delegate and supervise project work while collaborating with BRG experts, other professional firms, and client stakeholders.
• Contribute to marketing, client pitches, and the development of the corporate finance practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, accounting, finance, management, engineering, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience, ideally in consulting or professional services.
• Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, including three-statement models, cash flows, and scenario analysis.
• Ability to analyze large volumes of financial and operational data and develop qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Strong written and oral communication, problem-solving, project management, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or similar financial research tools.

Nice to have

• MBA or CPA.
• CFA, CPA equivalent, or technical and GAAP accounting expertise.
