Location: Richland, Washington, United States; predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, with some remote support as approved.

What you will do
- Conduct operations surveillances and review operational logs and procedures.
- Coordinate readiness reviews and escalate safety concerns.
- Support commissioning, deactivation and decommissioning, and environmental remediation activities.
- Provide oversight across engineering, construction compliance, work inspection, and field engineering management.
- Document and track Department of Energy oversight findings.
- Support Hanford Field Office program and project management activities.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of DOE operations oversight experience; nuclear or industrial facilities experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience with operations oversight, procedure review, and reporting.
- Sound judgment, independence, and willingness to maintain a field presence.
- Ability to work at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington.
- Ability to meet facility-clearance requirements and obtain a DOE clearance when required by the assignment.
Nice to have
- Experience in nuclear or industrial facilities.
- Expertise in physical sciences, civil or structural engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering, fire protection, instrumentation and control, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or nuclear engineering.
