Senior Analyst Specialist II and Weaponeering Applications Lead (JMEMs/JWS): Developing, maintaining, integrating, and validating weaponeering software tools, models, and methodologies for predicting weapon effects against target sets with an accent on authoritative JMEM data, DoD guidance, and training delivery. Focus on conducting Verification and Validation, supporting accreditation audits, maintaining validated models and datasets, and updating applications for new munitions, targets, and effects data.

What you will do
- Provide technical, programmatic, and analytical support for weaponeering applications.
- Develop, maintain, integrate, and validate software tools, models, methodologies, munitions data, target data, and effects data.
- Deliver in-residence and mobile training team instruction on weaponeering methods using JMEMs Weaponeering System and applicable software.
- Conduct annual Verification and Validation against authoritative JMEM data and prepare government accreditation documentation.
- Maintain validated models, algorithms, datasets, accredited-tool registries, update schedules, and user-feedback processes.
- Lead curriculum reviews, program audits, accreditations, reporting, and technical representation in relevant meetings and working groups.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance with NACLAC in scope within the last five years are required.
- At least seven years of warfighting operational experience; no degree is required.
- Expert knowledge of JMEMs, JWS, and the DoD Weaponeering Guide is required.
- Graduation from the DoD CDE Qualification Course is required.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least three specified areas, including weaponeering methodology, joint targeting, joint planning, military force employment, quantitative or qualitative analysis, and software Verification and Validation.
- Practical knowledge of instructional systems design and proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Nice to have
- Joint Targeting Staff Course or DoD CA Course graduation.
- Joint Staff or Combatant Command targeting staff experience.
- Experience integrating weaponeering applications with mission-planning systems and command-and-control environments.
- Knowledge of JMEM update cycles and controlled distribution procedures.
- SharePoint experience.

Hiring process
