Lab Analyst II (Analytical Chemistry)

Location: Wilmington, North Carolina, United States; full-time laboratory position.

Salary: USD 26–28 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze routine and moderately complex samples according to analytical SOPs.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Support analytical method development, validation, transfers, and preparation of SOPs and quality documentation.
• Provide technical training, advice, and support to analysts on data analysis.
• Investigate client inquiries and corrective action responses, and provide technical support to commercial and customer service teams.
• Manage assigned projects, maintain laboratory notebooks, and meet production, hold-time, and turnaround-time requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Chemistry or a similar scientific discipline and 3–5 years of relevant analytical chemistry laboratory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a similar scientific discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Advanced English language skills required.
• Basic mathematical, reasoning, and computer skills.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to follow analytical SOPs, internal procedures, and safe laboratory practices.
