Project Manager - Aviation

Salary: $128,067.17–$146,362.48 annually

What you will do

• Lead project management and technical oversight across aviation capital improvement projects, from business case development through design, construction, commissioning, and activation.
• Manage procurement, permitting, federal and state approvals, schedules, budgets, cost and change management, safety, quality control, and ORAT.
• Guide discipline managers and contractors on risks, program challenges, innovation, schedule performance, and budget performance.
• Coordinate airport operating divisions, airline operations, regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and delivery partners.
• Develop project controls, procedures, governance, integrated schedules, and earned value management processes.
• Coordinate progress meetings, deliverables, traffic and phasing plans, utility shutdowns, disruption notices, contingency planning, and stakeholder presentations.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience, preferably on airport projects.
• Previous experience managing design or construction within an active airport environment.
• Knowledge of airport operations and the design and construction of airport facilities is required.
• Experience managing capital projects or programs valued at more than $10 million.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, architecture, or construction management; comparable experience may substitute.
• Experience overseeing multiple concurrent construction activities within a complex capital infrastructure project.
