Trade Compliance Analyst

Location: El Paso, Texas, USA; full-time onsite role. Work schedule: 8:00–16:30. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Coordinate import and export trade compliance activities, including product classification, tariff classification, country-of-origin determinations, and party screening.
• Review import documentation, customs entries, invoices, and records for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare weekly entry filing reports and monthly duty and tax reports.
• Work with customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers, vendors, manufacturing plants, and distribution centers to resolve shipment delays and compliance issues.
• Maintain HTS databases, seal logs, inventory records, internal controls, and compliance procedures.
• Develop compliance training, metrics, reports, and continuous improvement initiatives using JDE/Oracle and related logistics systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of directly related professional experience.
• Working knowledge of trade compliance, supply chain, inventory, distribution, and transportation operations.
• Knowledge of truckload, less-than-truckload, air, ocean, and parcel transportation.
• Experience with MS Office Suite and Oracle ERP or Oracle Global Logistics Modules; CASS experience is also required.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to work proactively and independently in a high-pressure environment.
• Current US work authorization is required; temporary visa holders and candidates requiring current or future sponsorship are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Transportation Management.
• Knowledge of business intelligence, data warehouse concepts, and reporting tools.
