Customs Brokerage Supervisor

Location: 12200 E Iliff Ave Suite 202, Aurora, Colorado 80014, USA

Salary: Up to $57,000 base salary per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Supervise customs brokerage operations, allocate workloads, and maintain smooth service during peak periods and staff absences.
• Develop and mentor team members, support appraisals, define responsibilities, and maintain structured development plans.
• Monitor compliance with internal operating standards, government regulations, customer requirements, and customs procedures.
• Manage customs authorizations, transit documentation, duty deferment, license and visa applications, archiving, and file audits.
• Support customer retention and sales activities, including weekly calls, CRM reporting, business transitions, and customs proposals.
• Review accounts receivable, credit limits, customs guarantees, refunds, department P&L, reporting, and customs system improvements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of customs brokerage experience, including 1–2 years at management level.
• Proven supervisory attitude and knowledge of the market and products.
• Strong interpersonal, listening, comprehension, and concise communication skills.
• Good computer skills, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to maintain regulatory compliance, promote company policies, and support trade compliance training.
