Structural Engineering Technician (Revit)

Location: Raleigh, NC, United States; onsite position with no remote work. Local candidates are sought, and relocation assistance is not available.

What you will do

• Develop structural Revit models including grids, levels, columns, beams, floors, sections, and details.
• Produce accurate structural plans, sections, details, and construction documents from architectural drawings and engineer sketches.
• Coordinate structural models with architectural Revit models and CAD backgrounds.
• Maintain Revit templates and follow internal BIM/CADD standards, drawing standards, sheet layouts, and project schedules.
• Apply knowledge of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structural systems to framing plans and project details.
• Coordinate dimensions and drawing details, update documentation from shop drawing comments, and support multiple project teams under engineer supervision.

Requirements

• Associate degree in drafting/design or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of structural Revit experience, or equivalent steel detailing experience with the ability to learn Revit quickly.
• Proficiency in Revit and solid knowledge of building structural systems.
• Ability to manage time, project budgets, and deadlines with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Must be based in the Raleigh, NC area; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD or Navisworks.
