Senior Staff Test Engineer (GaN)

What you will do

• Develop cost-effective, high-efficiency test solutions for GaN and silicon device families.
• Create, debug, and release test programs on discrete testers and mixed-signal ATE platforms.
• Lead design reviews and acceptance of vendor-provided test interface hardware.
• Design load boards, probe heads, sockets, and other test hardware based on device specifications and characterization data.
• Support NPI validation, product release, yield ramp, and sustaining activities for production products and test platforms.
• Lead platform conversions and efficiency improvements across multiple ATE systems while collaborating with design, product, reliability, test, and operations teams.

Requirements

• 5–12+ years of semiconductor test engineering experience, depending on degree; BS or MS.
• Hands-on experience with wafer sort and final test.
• Programming experience in C++, VBA, or similar languages.
• Proficiency with discrete test systems, mixed-signal testers, ATE instrumentation, and debugging utilities.
• Knowledge of wide-bandgap semiconductors such as GaN, power and analog test methodologies, and high-voltage/high-current testing.
• Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication, assembly, and packaging processes, plus strong cross-functional communication and technical presentation skills.
