Lead Construction Brownfield Site Engineer (Offshore Water Injection Project)

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; offshore site execution for an offshore water injection project.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate brownfield construction activities throughout the offshore project lifecycle.
• Manage modifications, tie-ins, equipment installation, pipework, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical works on existing facilities.
• Coordinate Construction, Operations, Commissioning, Engineering, HSE, contractors, and vendors.
• Plan offshore campaigns, shutdowns, work fronts, manpower, equipment, materials, and logistics.
• Monitor progress, productivity, contractor performance, risks, constraints, and recovery measures.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, mechanical completion, system handover, and project close-out.

Requirements

• 18–22 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including 5–7 years in the offshore sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Marine, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience with brownfield construction, live plant tie-ins, shutdowns, SIMOPS, facility modifications, and offshore execution.
• Knowledge of PTW systems, energy isolation, working at height, lifting and rigging, confined-space entry, and offshore safety requirements.
• Experience supervising EPC contractors, subcontractors, and offshore construction teams.
• Ability to manage construction quality, inspections, punch lists, non-conformances, documentation, and handover records.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering registration or equivalent certification.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• BOSIET/FOET, H2S Awareness, Offshore Supervisory Safety Training, Rigging and Lifting Awareness Training, or Permit-to-Work Authorisation.
