Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Latrobe, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Provide input on the purchase, modification, and improvement of manufacturing equipment.
• Represent an engineering discipline—electrical, mechanical, or civil—on cross-functional project teams.
• Prepare purchase orders and non-stock requests while managing the cost, schedule, and performance of assigned project work.
• Complete engineering and design work for equipment installations and retrofits.
• Provide day-to-day equipment troubleshooting support to Maintenance.
• Direct outside consultants, contractors, and material suppliers when required.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in an engineering-related field is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least three years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience determined by department management.
• Ability to work in a production-oriented environment and prioritize tasks independently.
• Ability to apply engineering discipline training to equipment and fabrication design.
• Experience with CAD systems, preferably with 3D capabilities, MS Office, and engineering design software.
