Software Integration Engineer (HPC)

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States; in-office role

Salary: $49,996.80–$290,004.00

What you will do

• Provide customer support for HPC software used in operational High Performance Computing environments.
• Support UNIX, Linux, Windows systems, desktop applications, servers, and networks required for mission operations.
• Install and configure systems, including HPC GOTS schedulers and resource management software.
• Develop and maintain software using Python, C, C++, Java, Perl, or JavaScript.
• Work with compilers, multithreaded software, parallel processing, CORBA, and J2EE.
• Apply structured troubleshooting and configuration management practices.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active security clearance are required.
• Experience supporting HPC software and complex systems environments.
• Proficiency with Linux shell scripting and Python programming.
• Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language such as C, C++, or Java.
• Working knowledge of GCC, multithreaded software, parallel processing, CORBA, J2EE, and configuration management tools.
• Structured troubleshooting skills and experience with system installation.
