What you will do

• Provide HPC-enhanced sustainment capabilities across two geographically dispersed areas.
• Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous operating system environments.
• Support HPC and ABS SRE teams with software, systems, servers, parallel file systems, and operational sustainment.
• Plan, deliver, and integrate new HPC capabilities, including cluster, SMP, MPP, and SPD systems.
• Transition systems into operations according to scheduled transition activities.
• Provide customer support for HPC software and the UNIX, Linux, Windows, desktop, server, and network systems supporting the mission.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; the most recent polygraph must have been completed within the last 7 years.
• DoD 8570 IAT II-level certification.
• 8 years of demonstrable experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous operating system environments, plus a related degree.
• Alternatively, 13 years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Ability to follow government-designated ticket tracking, change approval, change management, coding, and SRE tool processes.

Nice to have

• Linux shell scripting, Python, Perl, or JavaScript.
• Object-oriented programming with C, C++, or Java; GCC compiler experience.
• Multithreaded software, parallel processing, CORBA, or J2EE.
• Configuration management, structured troubleshooting, and system installation experience.
• Experience with HPC GOTS schedulers and resource management software.
