Software Integration Engineer Level 4 (HPC)

What you will do

• Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous operating system environments.
• Provide HPC software customer support across Linux, Unix, Windows systems, servers, networks, and desktop applications.
• Support multi-vendor HPC servers, clusters, SMP, MPP, and SPD systems across geographically dispersed environments.
• Support HPC and ABUNDANTSHIELD parallel-storage SRE teams while following government ticketing, change-management, coding, and operational procedures.
• Plan and execute the transition of new HPC systems, servers, and parallel file systems into operations.
• Work with high-speed shared storage and low-latency interconnects, including Lustre, GPFS, InfiniBand, and Slingshot.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; most recent polygraph must be within the last seven years.
• DoD 8570 IAT II-level certification.
• 10 years of demonstrable experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software, plus a related degree; 15 years of experience may substitute for the degree.
• Proficiency with Linux shell scripting, Python, C, C++, Java, GCC, multithreaded software, and parallel processing.
• Experience with CORBA, J2EE, Perl or JavaScript, configuration-management tools, structured troubleshooting, and system installation.
• Experience with HPC GOTS schedulers and resource-management software.
