Manager - Metallurgy Special Projects

What you will do

• Develop and manage metallurgy characterization programs and special projects.
• Lead characterization and reporting for industry requirements, including JENQC.
• Lead and support qualification of new processes and equipment.
• Provide metallurgical support to Manufacturing, R&D, and other departments.
• Drive operational excellence, quality improvement initiatives, and process improvements.
• Advise the Metallurgy Leadership Team, support strategic planning, and mentor junior metallurgists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Quality Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a technical or metallurgy staff position.
• Experience managing staff is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, research, analysis, and technical reporting skills.
• Experience with business planning, functional leadership, and financial and operational performance management.
