TL;DR
Geospatial Data Manager (GIS/SQL): Managing, structuring, and optimizing geospatial and enterprise data for GEOINT and multi-INT mission requirements with an accent on GIS, georeferencing, metadata standards, and relational database architecture. Focus on designing normalized and scalable data architectures, maintaining enterprise geodatabases, and improving data governance and workflows for downstream analysis.

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 USD annually

What you will do
- Manage, structure, and optimize geospatial and enterprise data for mission-critical intelligence operations.
- Organize and maintain spatial data using GIS, data schemas, georeferencing, metadata, and extraction standards.
- Design, normalize, and optimize relational database architectures for performance and scalability.
- Support enterprise geodatabases, including Spatial Database Engines (SDEs).
- Use ArcGIS Suite, ArcGIS Online, Portal, SQL, Oracle, Excel, and Access to maintain high-quality datasets.
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and mission partners to improve workflows, data governance, and GEOINT and multi-INT data support.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI Clearance required, with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, with equivalent combinations of certifications and education considered.
- Understanding of GIS, data schemas, georeferencing, extraction specifications, and metadata specifications.
- Knowledge of RDBMS architecture, data normalization, performance tuning, enterprise geodatabases, and SDEs.
- Experience with ArcGIS tools, SQL, Oracle, Excel, and Access for spatial data management.
- Understanding of ontology concepts, information systems, data modeling, data relationships, and cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to have
- Scripting experience with R or Python.
- Understanding of cartographic principles.
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
- Experience in data governance, data stewardship, or data quality initiatives.
- GEOINT Professional Certification in Fundamentals or Geospatial Data Management.
