GIS Analyst (ArcGIS): Developing data management and analysis scripts, conducting spatial analyses, and creating maps for environmental and archaeological projects with an accent on ArcGIS, spatial data editing, and mobile GIS/GPS field support. Focus on building analytical models, managing spatial and tabular datasets, documenting technical procedures, and supporting field data collection.
Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; onsite, full-time

What you will do
- Support environmental and archaeological projects.
- Create data management and analysis scripts and models.
- Conduct spatial analyses and prepare maps using ArcGIS.
- Input and edit spatial and tabular data in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
- Support field data collection with mobile GIS and GPS equipment.
- Follow and document technical procedures and complete other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Planning, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a closely related field.
- At least three years of practical GIS experience; an advanced relevant degree may offset the experience requirement.
- Proficiency with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, and extensions such as 3D Analyst and Spatial Analyst.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and working knowledge of interoperability tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
