Electrician (Battery Manufacturing)

Location: McCarran, Nevada, United States; onsite industrial facilities

Company

Develops battery recycling, recovery, reuse, energy storage, and battery materials manufacturing facilities to localize the global battery supply chain.

What you will do

• Install power distribution systems, transformers, lighting, temporary construction power, and electrical equipment up to 480 VAC.
• Work across greenfield recycling and production facilities and retrofit existing operational facilities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical components, control panels, low-voltage systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, P&IDs, blueprints, and manuals to plan and execute work.
• Prepare parts lists, work plans, as-built drawings, and circuit modifications.
• Test and commission completed work while following company procedures, building codes, and job-site safety requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of journeyman-level or higher electrician experience in industrial or commercial settings.
• Experience with electrical meters, testing equipment, conductor and conduit sizing, and the NEC Code Book.
• Ability to work with low- to high-voltage systems up to 480 VAC and interpret electrical prints and schematics.
• Ability to evaluate job hazards, plan pre-work activities, and follow electrical safety procedures.
• Ability to work at elevations up to 60 feet, lift and carry up to 100 pounds, climb stairs while carrying weight, and maintain regular attendance.
• Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Medium-voltage experience.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting PLCs, motor controls, drives, and electronic components.
