What you will do

• Observe, assess, and evaluate K–12 students with suspected speech impairments and determine eligibility for services.
• Provide regular therapy for language, articulation, fluency, voice, resonance, and related communication disorders.
• Maintain clinical records, therapy documentation, and quarterly speech report cards.
• Participate in ARD and ACWL committee meetings, interpret assessment results, and support placement and goal-setting decisions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and colleagues to monitor progress and adjust student IEPs.
• Provide workshops and resources for educators, school leaders, faculty members, and parents on speech and language development.

Requirements

• Valid licensure through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology.
• Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting.
• Experience assessing and diagnosing communication disorders and collaborating with teammates, students, families, and staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, planning, judgment, initiative, and follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and common office equipment; reliable transportation.
