Group Product Manager (Connected Hardware & Software)

Location: Hybrid in Oak Brook, Illinois, United States

Salary: $129,700–$226,900 per year, plus benefits, 401(k) contribution, and eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Develop and implement product, brand, portfolio, pricing, and integrated marketing strategies for the assigned business unit.
• Own annual and multi-year operating plans, portfolio financial performance, profitability, revenue growth, market share, quality, delivery, cost, and innovation objectives.
• Lead and supervise product managers while improving average selling price, gross margin, product mix, user engagement, and product-line performance.
• Define and communicate the product portfolio vision and roadmap across hardware and software, emphasizing new product development, releases, sustaining support, and connected user experiences.
• Partner with marketing, sales, customer experience, and other functions on go-to-market strategies, operational plans, product content, after-sales support, and service strategy.
• Serve as Product Owner for connected services, guiding consumer insights, user experience requirements, business cases, value propositions, and cross-functional delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Marketing, and/or Product Management.
• Experience supervising product managers and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience with product strategy, portfolio management, pricing, financial performance, and go-to-market planning.
• Ability to manage both hardware and software products and develop connected customer experiences.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Oak Brook, Illinois.
