Sr Quality Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Lincoln, Rhode Island, US, or Andover, Massachusetts, US

Salary: $105,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Monitor supplier, subcontractor, and internal process and product quality.
• Create, document, develop, and implement quality processes and procedures.
• Support ISO activities, including internal audits and audit findings.
• Oversee CAPA activities, including SCAR, PCAR, NCMR, and related corrective actions.
• Communicate with suppliers to close corrective actions and track PCN activity.
• Maintain quality documentation and collaborate with failure analysis and reliability functions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product quality engineering.
• Background in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing, including product life cycle management, troubleshooting, and manufacturing process inspection.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and experience with IATF 16949 automotive quality requirements.
• Experience with semiconductor quality and reliability systems and practices.
• BSEE or BSME degree required.
• Ability to perform physical and electrical measurements and drive projects to completion in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Black Belt or CQE certification.
• Statistical analysis experience using JMP or Minitab.
• Experience with PLM systems such as Omnify, Agile, or Matrix One.
• Familiarity with IC packaging and semiconductor reliability.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Visio.
