Senior Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Chihuahua, Mexico; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Establish tactical quality plans, manage resources, and maintain plant quality certifications and KPIs.
• Lead corrective actions with multidisciplinary teams and ensure actions are effective and permanent.
• Plan and follow up on quality controls for new product introduction, engineering change notices, and deviation requests.
• Communicate and manage customer corrective actions, including CI and 8D activities.
• Certify personnel in critical testing, inspection, and calibration operations.
• Implement quality holds and stop shipments when product risks are identified, and authorize deviation requests according to established procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related discipline.
• At least five years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
• Knowledge of problem-solving methods, ISO 9001, and acceptance criteria under IPC 610.
• Basic knowledge of Minitab and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Written and conversational English and Spanish are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Quality or Administration.
• Intermediate statistical knowledge, including ANOVA and DOE.
• IPC 610 certification, Six Sigma Green Belt certification, or ISO 9001 internal auditor certification.
• Experience in departments outside Quality.
