C&I Credit Analyst II or III

Location: Columbus, Ohio. Onsite Monday through Thursday; Friday is an optional work-from-home day.

Salary: $61,500–$110,000 annually, plus bonus.

What you will do

• Prepare credit analyses, recommendations, credit memos, opportunity memos, annual reviews, renewals, and modifications for new and existing commercial borrowers.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, repayment sources, industry risk, market conditions, loan structure, collateral coverage, and guarantor financials.
• Perform underwriting, risk rating, covenant testing, due diligence, and credit-risk mitigation in line with approval guidance and commercial credit policy.
• Collaborate with commercial lending, credit administration, and commercial credit management teams, including participation in business calls and opportunity memo calls.
• Maintain accurate underwriting-platform data, credit relationship records, covenant compliance records, documentation, and audit and compliance materials.
• Support workflow improvements, special projects, analyst training, and professional development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant commercial lending or credit administration experience, specifically in C&I lending.
• Experience analyzing financial statements, personal tax returns, repayment capacity, collateral, credit risk, and loan covenants.
• Ability to prepare clear narrative credit documentation and communicate effectively with lending and credit teams.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, departmental software, banking regulations, commercial lending, credit administration, and appraisals.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Thursday in Columbus, Ohio; Friday work from home is optional.
