Solutions Architect (Federal)

What you will do

• Collaborate with Capture, Business Development, Proposal, Pricing, Recruiting, and Program Delivery teams to shape and pursue federal opportunities.
• Analyze RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, solicitations, PWS/SOW requirements, evaluation criteria, and customer technical environments.
• Develop technical solutions, architectures, diagrams, workflows, narratives, assumptions, staffing models, BOMs, labor estimates, and BOEs.
• Design cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions using AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Incorporate DevSecOps, CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes, automation, observability, Zero Trust, and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• Develop proofs of concept, prototypes, and demonstrations and participate in technical reviews, proposal color teams, customer meetings, and oral presentations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, Enterprise Architect, or in a similar technical leadership role.
• Experience translating complex customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Experience designing cloud or hybrid-cloud solutions with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of solution architecture principles, including scalability, availability, security, resiliency, interoperability, and performance optimization.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes, automation, cybersecurity, Zero Trust Architecture, Identity and Access Management, and cloud security.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with federal contracting, capture, business development, and proposal development.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, Generative AI, data analytics, and intelligent automation.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, TOGAF, CISSP, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, AI/ML, data, or cloud architecture certifications.
• Master’s degree in a related technical discipline.
