Senior Software Development Engineer (TypeScript)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy complex software solutions and production web applications.
• Lead technical design discussions, implementation approaches, feature delivery, and architectural decisions.
• Own the design, delivery, scalability, performance, reliability, security, and long-term technical health of assigned systems and services.
• Investigate complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and partner with DevOps and Platform teams on monitoring and observability.
• Conduct code and design reviews, mentor engineers, and improve engineering standards and delivery practices.
• Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and reviews while validating quality, security, performance, and maintainability.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong TypeScript fluency and significant experience building production web applications and services.
• Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS, modern frontend and backend development, and scalable production systems.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Docker, and networking concepts for modern web and distributed applications.
• Strong system design, troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading technical projects, mentoring engineers, and using AI coding assistants and agentic development workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms, serverless applications, distributed systems, Azure/Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, or equivalent technologies.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, messaging, asynchronous processing, NoSQL, caching, CI/CD, application security, and observability.
• Experience with Kubernetes and modern UI/design systems such as Material UI/MUI.
• Exposure to PHP or AngularJS; Java or C# experience is a plus.
