Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Location: Beavercreek, Ohio, United States. Work is largely performed at the Beavercreek headquarters, with occasional trips to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton for meetings and software deliveries.

What you will do

• Interface with end users to understand and refine application requirements supporting mission needs.
• Build web applications for rapid search, discovery, visualization, and retrieval of intelligence data.
• Develop modern frontend experiences using TypeScript, React, and related web frameworks.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and Node-based server-side logic.
• Deploy web applications using container technologies.
• Collaborate with peers and decision-makers while handling ambiguous requirements with initiative.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least seven years of experience in software-focused engineering roles.
• At least five years of experience developing web applications with React and five years with JavaScript or TypeScript, CSS/SASS/LESS, and HTML.
• At least five years of backend development experience with Node.js, including Express.js or a similar framework.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, Git-based configuration management, and container technologies such as Docker or Podman.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.

Nice to have

• Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an engineering discipline.
• In-scope Counter Intelligence Polygraph.
• Experience with Next.js, React Router, database design, ORM tools, GitFlow, or GitOps.
• Demonstrable excellence in UI/UX.
