Machine Operator - Multipak - 12hr Rotating Swing Shifts (AM/PM)

Location: Forest Park, Georgia, USA (West Facility); onsite work required. The role follows rotating 12-hour swing shifts from 7 AM–7 PM and 7 PM–7 AM, with flexibility for overtime, weekends, and off-shift hours when needed.

Salary: $24.63 per hour starting rate, with skill-based pay advancement opportunities and overnight shift differentials.

What you will do

• Operate production line machinery and maintain accurate setup and product run times.
• Perform equipment changeovers according to established procedures and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions, product jams, and equipment failures.
• Identify quality issues and collaborate with colleagues to maintain product standards.
• Manage assigned supplies and parts inventory, ordering replacements as needed.
• Support improvement projects, equipment installations, maintenance documentation, and required training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1–2 years of machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment; 3+ years is preferred.
• Mechanical troubleshooting, root-cause identification, and technical skills are preferred.
• Knowledge of packaging equipment, manufacturing processes, quality control principles, SOPs, GMPs, 5S, or WCM.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics and collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and team members.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment on rotating 12-hour shifts, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Vocational, technical, or mechanical coursework.
• Experience in mechanics, maintenance, blow molding, or machine-shop work.
