Senior Proposal Specialist (Aviation Consulting)

Location: Hybrid role in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States

Salary: $105,000–$140,000 annually, depending on local market and qualifications.

What you will do

• Manage the full proposal lifecycle for RFP, RFQ, SOQ, and other client solicitations.
• Review solicitation requirements, evaluation criteria, deadlines, and compliance obligations.
• Prepare proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, assignments, and production plans.
• Coordinate content with technical professionals, project managers, business development leaders, firm leadership, and teaming partners.
• Write, edit, tailor, format, and quality-check proposal content, resumes, project descriptions, and qualifications materials.
• Manage final electronic and print submissions, interview and presentation materials, proposal debriefs, and proposal resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism, English, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 10+ years of career experience, including 5–10 years of proposal development experience.
• Experience managing deadline-driven RFP, RFQ, and SOQ responses.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with strong writing, editing, proofreading, organizational, and project-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign.

Nice to have

• Experience in aviation, airport, transportation, architecture, engineering, construction, or professional consulting.
• Familiarity with public-sector and qualifications-based procurement processes.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external teaming partners.
• Additional Adobe Creative Suite experience.
• APMP certification or related proposal-management training.
