Sr. Electrical Engineer (PCB Design)

What you will do

• Develop high-power and control electronics for high-performance multi-rotor drone systems from concept through production.
• Own PCB design activities, including schematic capture, layout, manufacturing, design for manufacturability, and testing.
• Create electronics design, manufacturing, and test documentation.
• Perform electronics failure analysis and develop mitigation approaches.
• Support technicians with electronic assembly and testing, and coordinate with contract manufacturers on quality subassemblies.
• Contribute to product roadmaps, new features, and new products.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen due to government requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
• 7–10 years of PCB design software experience; Altium Designer is preferred, though experience with other PCB design tools is acceptable.
• Substantial independent PCB design experience involving complex boards, RF systems, or power design.
• Experience in testing, analog, RF, high-speed design, or related electronics disciplines.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, ownership, and product development skills.

Nice to have

• High-speed design experience with USB, Ethernet, DDR memory, microcontrollers, microprocessors, FPGAs, or similar technologies.
• Full electronics lifecycle experience from concept through production, or from concept through prototype.
• RF/EMI experience, ideally involving MIL-STD-461.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, UAS, robotics, or similarly complex product domains.
• Power electronics design experience.
