Financial Analyst IV - Financial Reporting

What you will do

• Conduct advanced research and prepare, analyze, and review complex financial, tax, regulatory, and management reporting.
• Prepare financial schedules, reconciliations, bank regulatory reports, SEC reports, shareholder and Board reports, and internal management reports.
• Resolve reporting issues, interpret data, perform or review variance analyses, and ensure timely submissions.
• Perform data integrity testing, general ledger entries, and reviews for compliance with GAAP, SEC disclosure requirements, and banking regulations.
• Allocate work, train and mentor junior team members, and review their work when required.
• Participate in special projects, improve reporting processes, communicate results to management, and escalate risk-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience, or an associate's degree and at least 7 years of experience in accounting, auditing, operations, or financial institutions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of finance, accounting, regulatory reporting, business operations, bank products, and the banking industry.
• Advanced problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High-level proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence peers and managers.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or professional certification such as CPA or CFA.
• Experience with data visualization or data querying applications.
