Laboratory Technician I (Full-Time) (Food Testing)

What you will do

• Register incoming samples and maintain accurate daily and quality-control records.
• Enter sample data into the Eurofins eLIMS system.
• Conduct laboratory testing accurately, efficiently, and within required turnaround times.
• Verify test results and submit them for transmission to the appropriate personnel.
• Identify process difficulties, non-conformances, and out-of-specification results, and report proposed solutions to the supervisor.
• Follow laboratory procedures, quality requirements, and health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to follow quality manuals, SOPs, local work instructions, analytical methods, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, clients, and staff.
• Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. shift availability required.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in microbiology, food sciences, chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
• Experience with plating, plate reading, and sample preparation.
