Assistant Project Manager

Location: Laurinburg and Greensboro, North Carolina; majority of work is performed at the construction site. Local travel is required, with possible long-distance and overnight travel depending on the project.

What you will do

• Produce, organize, and maintain project documentation, including contract, safety, insurance, supplier, closeout, turnover, and archival records.
• Support project billing, contract administration, waivers, meeting documentation, and closeout activities.
• Coordinate punch lists with the superintendent, client, architect, and trade contractors, using technology to complete them within 30 days after substantial completion.
• Schedule required inspections, maintain inspection logs, coordinate with inspectors, and ensure site readiness.
• Oversee procurement, material tracking, inspections, on-site storage, contract drawing updates, and trade contractor document revisions.
• Monitor construction quality and compliance, support daily reporting and progress photos, and implement site-specific safety requirements and signage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least three years of construction-related industry experience.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Regular work at the construction site is required; extended hours and weekends may apply.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and background screening is required.
• Mandatory site PPE includes hardhats and safety glasses.
