Supportive Housing Case Manager

Location: Olympia, Washington, USA. This is an onsite role with daily in-office work, community outreach, local travel, occasional home visits, and some flexibility for nights and weekends.

Salary: $23.00–$25.65 per hour.

What you will do

• Conduct client assessments and interviews to determine eligibility.
• Develop and update action plans, case notes, client records, and outcome reports.
• Provide life-skills development and targeted interventions, including eviction-prevention support.
• Connect clients with medical, mental health, counseling, and community services.
• Guide clients through applications and eligibility reviews for SSI, SSDI, Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP, and related programs.
• Coordinate with property management and internal and external partners, attend meetings, represent Compass in the community, and provide transportation when needed.

Requirements

• Current resume must include bulleted details of direct housing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in social services or a related field plus one year of supportive-housing or independent-living coordination experience; or a high school diploma/GED plus two years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to a vehicle insured for the applicant as a driver are required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, travel throughout the area, use laptops, phones, and designated software, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to perform CPR/First Aid as needed.
• Strong reading, writing, documentation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Bilingual communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Zoom, PC, and Android devices.
