Senior Manager - Client Accounting Services, Not for Profit (Sage Intacct)

What you will do

• Act as the senior relationship leader and trusted advisor for a portfolio of Managed Services clients.
• Lead accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, technology adoption, process improvement, and financial management.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and other financial reporting, including reviewing statements and reporting packages for accuracy and meaningful presentation.
• Manage client satisfaction, retention, engagement economics, team performance, service quality, and practice scalability.
• Coach and mentor staff on client service, not-for-profit accounting practices, and technical accounting matters.
• Promote Sage Intacct, workflow tools, reporting technologies, and automation while improving close cycles and service delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Public accounting or BPO firm experience required, with at least eight years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience.
• Experience supporting complex not-for-profit clients required.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with Sage Intacct required, including interfacing it with third-party applications such as Ramp and Bill.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• CPA and/or MBA.
• Professional services or consulting experience.
• QuickBooks Online experience.
