Focus on diagnosing equipment problems, documenting service results and complaints, managing returned material authorizations, and supporting national and international field service travel.

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; on-site service at hospital customer locations, with national and possible international travel.

What you will do

  • Install robotics and imaging products at hospital customer sites according to official procedures.
  • Perform site acceptance testing, demonstrate system functionality, and obtain documented customer approval.
  • Provide preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, replacements, product updates, and upgrades.
  • Respond to customer technical questions, complaints, and product performance issues.
  • Document customer visits, installation and functionality testing, feedback, issues, and complaints.
  • Participate in and help manage returned material authorization processing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a science or engineering degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a technical customer service or field service role.
  • Experience with GMP and ISO standards and a strong understanding of healthcare capital equipment.
  • Ability to work in hospital settings, travel on short notice, and provide service across the assigned geography.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with strong oral, written, and graphical communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in small teams.

Nice to have

  • Medical device industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of quality or reliability engineering.
